2nd Tsuru Project Event!

April 14, 2011

It has been a month since the earthquake.
Things in Japan are not looking so bright still.

To help rebuild Japan and send out good energy to them, we are having another Tsuru Project event!

At the event, we will have a donation box to raise money, as well as Origami workshop to make tsuru. For those who can’t donate are also welcome to learn culture of Japan by making origami tsuru. Those tsuru will be used for our future event coming up for Tanabata Festival(Wishing Tree) in NY on August 2011(detail about the event coming soon.) You can also simply take a tsuru home that’s already made too so you can put Japan in your thoughts, and spread word to others for us 🙂 If you have origami papers, please bring them to us too!

We will also have some nuclear related information and earthquake disaster at the event.

Our event will be
Sunday, April 17th
232 Bedford ave (Between N.4th Street and N.5th Street)
Brooklyn NY 11221
L train at Befrord Ave.
